FAQ

My progress was lost after reinstalling

Your progress is backed up via iCloud. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID and iCloud is enabled in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Wordo.

Remove Ads purchase isn't working

Tap Settings → Restore Purchases inside the app. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID used to buy it. If the issue persists, contact us above.

How do I earn more credits?

You earn credits by solving words — 1–3 credits per solve depending on speed. You can also watch a short video ad in the hint menu to earn 5 free credits.

Game Center leaderboard isn't showing

Go to Settings → Game Center and make sure you're signed in. The leaderboard requires an active Game Center account to display global rankings.

The app crashed — what should I do?

Force-quit the app, restart it, and try again. If the crash repeats, use the contact form above. Include your device model and iOS version.

🎯

Quick Tips

  • Green tile = correct letter, correct position
  • Yellow tile = correct letter, wrong position
  • Grey tile = letter not in the word
  • Tap the lightbulb to reveal a letter (costs 5 credits)
  • Solve daily to build your streak and climb the leaderboard

FAQ

Apple Health isn't importing my weight, sleep or HRV

Tony Fitter only reads what you've explicitly granted. Go to Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Tony Fitter and make sure Body Mass, Height, Date of Birth, Sleep Analysis, Resting Heart Rate and Heart Rate Variability are all switched on. iOS silently returns nothing for a category you've denied — it never shows an error.

Sleep, resting heart rate and HRV are read from the last 36 hours, so if your watch or ring hasn't synced to Health yet there'll be nothing to pull. Open the Health app first, let it sync, then reopen Tony Fitter.

My finished workouts aren't appearing in Apple Health

Writing workouts is off by default. Turn on Settings → Health & Safety → Save Workouts to Apple Health inside the app, then grant write permission when iOS asks. Only sessions you finish after switching it on are written — it doesn't backfill your history.

My training history vanished after reinstalling

Two safety nets. If you had Settings → iCloud Sync → Sync with iCloud switched on, sign into the same Apple ID and reopen the app — your workouts, check-ins, bodyweight log and routines merge back in automatically.

If you'd exported a backup instead, use Settings → Your Data → Restore from Backup and pick the file. Restoring rewrites every key, so quit and reopen the app afterwards to let the stores reload.

iCloud sync isn't reaching my other device

Sync pulls at launch, not continuously. Open the app on the second device — that's what triggers the merge. Both devices need the same Apple ID, iCloud Drive enabled, and Sync with iCloud switched on in Tony Fitter's own settings.

Records merge by ID rather than overwriting, so a session logged on your phone and one logged on your iPad both survive. Nothing is ever silently replaced.

How do I build my own routine?

Home → My Routines → the + button. Name it, add exercises from the whole library (your own custom lifts included), and set sets, reps and rest per exercise. Drag to reorder, swipe to delete.

Saved routines appear as quick-start tiles on the home screen — one tap and you're straight into the session runner, no setup.

Can I add an exercise the app doesn't have?

Yes. Browse → the + button lets you define your own lift: name it, pick the equipment, and set which muscles it works and how much. Custom exercises show up everywhere the built-in ones do — in search, in routines, in your volume totals, and in weak-point analysis.

What do Strain and Recovery actually mean?

See the Understanding Your Numbers card below — every figure on the Today card is explained there, including where the maths comes from.

I'm getting a load warning — should I worry?

The warning is the acute:chronic workload ratio leaving the 0.8–1.3 band. Above 1.3 means this week is a lot heavier than your recent four-week average — the range associated with elevated injury risk. Below 0.8 means you've detrained relative to your own baseline.

It's a flag, not a diagnosis. It knows nothing about your sleep debt, your job, or how you actually feel. Use it alongside the morning check-in rather than instead of it.

Do I have to do the morning check-in?

No. Skip it and the app still tracks everything else — the Today card just dims the readings it can't compute. But sleep, soreness, energy, resting heart rate and HRV are what drive the readiness score, so a week of check-ins makes every recommendation noticeably sharper.

If you wear a watch or ring that writes to Apple Health, most of it fills in automatically.

How do I turn the ads off?

Settings → Ads → Show Ads. The status line underneath tells you exactly what's happening — whether ads are on, off, hidden by Screenshot Mode, or removed by purchase.

Banners only ever appear on browsing and review screens. Never during a workout, never on the HIIT runner, never on the morning check-in, and never during onboarding.

I can't select muscles on the body map

Drag the info sheet at the bottom down to its smallest size — the figure needs the room. Tap a muscle to select it, tap again to clear it. You can select several at once and the exercise list re-ranks live.

The app crashed — what should I do?

Force-quit, reopen, and try again. An interrupted session is saved as you go, so you'll be offered a Resume card on the home screen rather than losing the sets you'd already logged. If the crash repeats, contact us with your device model, iOS version, and exactly what you were doing.

📊

Understanding Your Numbers

Strain
0 – 21
How hard today actually was. Built from session volume, intensity relative to your own bests, and the RPE you logged, then compressed onto a 0–21 scale so a genuinely brutal day still has somewhere to go. Two days at 14 are twice the work of two days at 7 only in feel — the scale is deliberately non-linear at the top.
Recovery
0 – 100%
How ready your body says it is. Sleep duration and quality, soreness, energy, resting heart rate and HRV each contribute, weighted against your own rolling baseline rather than a population average. Your 100% is yours.
Load Ratio (ACWR)
0.8 – 1.3 is the sweet spot
This week's training load divided by your rolling four-week average. Above 1.3 you're ramping faster than you've adapted to; below 0.8 you're losing ground. Sports-science literature ties sustained excursions above the band to raised soft-tissue injury risk.
Monotony
Lower is better
Foster's measure of how same-y your week is. Identical effort every day scores high and predicts staleness even when total volume is sensible. Hard days genuinely hard, easy days genuinely easy — that's what brings it down.
Estimated 1RM
Epley formula
Your best single, estimated from a set you actually did. Accurate through about 8 reps and increasingly optimistic beyond that — treat a 15-rep e1RM as a rough direction, not a number to load the bar with.

None of this is medical advice. Tony Fitter is a training tool, not a clinician. If something hurts in a way that training soreness doesn't, see a professional.

🎯

Quick Tips

  • Log the morning check-in before coffee — resting heart rate and HRV are most consistent right after waking
  • Tap a muscle on the body map to get exercises ranked by how much they actually work it, not by popularity
  • Define an injury on the home screen and every recommendation routes around it automatically
  • Save your usual sessions as routines — one tap from Home beats rebuilding the same workout weekly
  • Log RPE at the end of each session; it's what makes strain and the load ratio mean anything
  • Export a backup before switching phones, even with iCloud sync on — belt and braces
📱

App Info

What's New

Routines
Build your own workout and start it from Home
Save any set of exercises as a named routine with your own sets, reps and rest. It appears as a quick-start tile on the home screen — one tap straight into the session, no rebuilding it every week.
Custom Exercises
Add lifts the library doesn't have
Define your own exercise with its equipment and muscle contributions. It behaves exactly like a built-in one — searchable, rankable on the body map, and counted in your volume and weak-point analysis.
Apple Health
Two-way sync with Health
Pull bodyweight, height, sleep, resting heart rate and HRV in; push finished workouts back out as real Health workouts with energy burned. Both directions are opt-in and separately controlled.
iCloud Sync
Your training follows you to a new phone
No account, no login, no server. Settings and records ride your private iCloud storage, and collections merge by record ID — so a session logged on your phone and one on your iPad both survive rather than one overwriting the other.
Injuries
Define an injury right on the home screen
Flag a niggle and every recommendation in the app routes around it — exercise rankings, session builder, and the weak-point prescription all respect it without you having to remember.
Exercises
Real photographs, not diagrams
Ninety-five exercises now carry a start and end photo pair that cross-fades to show the movement. Tap to flip between the two positions yourself.
PR Entry
Pick your PRs off a wheel
The four main-lift records on Improve are now a spinner over a plate-friendly ladder — 2.5 kg or 5 lb rungs — instead of a decimal keypad. No stray decimals, no numbers a barbell can't be loaded to.
Ads
A switch, and a status line that tells the truth
Settings → Ads turns every banner on or off instantly, and names the actual reason ads are or aren't showing. Banners stay on browsing and review screens only — never during a workout, the morning check-in, or onboarding.
Screenshot Mode
Twelve weeks of demo data on demand
Fills the app with a realistic training history for App Store captures — and hides every ad while it's on. Your real data is stashed safely and restored the moment you switch it off.

Polish

Full-bleed exercise photography that stretches as you over-scroll
Three-ring Today card — strain, recovery and sleep at a glance
Cards press in when tapped, and rise in as you scroll
Confetti when you finish a session or land a personal record
Haptics on set completion, rest-timer end, and muscle selection
A brand launch screen instead of a white flash
🔧

Reliability

An interrupted session is offered back as a Resume card rather than lost
Sleep is summed per source so a watch and a ring don't double-count
Whole-app backup and restore in one file — workouts, check-ins, PRs, streaks, settings
Custom exercises and routines included in backups and iCloud sync
Body map controls no longer sit over the figure and block muscle taps

Tony Fitter ("the App", "we", "us") is a strength-training and recovery app made by Pathom Sriaroonthip. We do not run a server and we do not have an account system. Your training data is computed and stored on your device, and optionally mirrored to your own private iCloud storage. We never see it.

The one exception is advertising, which is handled by Google on our behalf and covered in full below.

❤️

Health Data

With your explicit permission, the App reads the following from Apple Health to personalise your readiness and strength analysis:

Body mass Height Date of birth Biological sex Sleep analysis Resting heart rate Heart rate variability

If you switch on Save Workouts to Apple Health, the App also writes your finished sessions back to Health as workouts with duration and estimated energy burned.

Health and fitness data is never used for advertising or marketing. It is never sold, never shared with any third party, never used for data mining beyond improving your own experience inside the App, and never transmitted to us — we have no server to transmit it to. It is read on demand, used for on-device calculation, and stored only where you already keep it: on your device and in your own Health and iCloud accounts.

Revoke access at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Tony Fitter. The App keeps working; it simply stops reading.

📦

What Stays on Your Device

The following lives in the App's own storage on your device, and — only if you switch on iCloud Sync — in your private iCloud account. It is never sent to us:

Workout history Training log Morning check-ins Bodyweight log Personal records Custom exercises Custom routines Injuries Programs Favourites Streak & points Reminders Settings

Export all of it at any time via Settings → Your Data → Back Up All Data, which produces a single file you own outright.

📣

Advertising

The App displays banner advertisements supplied by Google AdMob on browsing and review screens. Ads never appear during a workout, on the HIIT runner, on the morning check-in, during onboarding, or on the post-workout summary.

To serve those ads, Google's SDK may access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and coarse technical information such as device model, OS version and general location derived from IP address. Whether the identifier is used for personalised advertising depends on your answer to the App Tracking Transparency prompt and, in applicable regions, the Google-provided consent form shown on first launch.

  • If you allow tracking: ads may be personalised using your advertising identifier.
  • If you decline: ads still appear, but are not personalised.
  • Either way: no health, fitness, workout or check-in data is ever passed to Google or any ad network. The ad SDK receives nothing about your training.

Change your mind at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. To remove ads entirely, use Settings → Ads → Show Ads inside the App.

Google's handling of this data is governed by their own policy: policies.google.com/technologies/ads

FAQ

Do I really need a connection for anything?

No. All twenty games, every puzzle, the Game of the Day, the Daily Challenge, achievements and your stats work with the radio off. Sudoku puzzles are generated on your device rather than downloaded, so there's no pack to run out of.

Two things need a signal when you want them: iCloud sync, which catches up the next time you're online, and Game Center leaderboards. Neither blocks play.

Will ads interrupt me mid-game?

No. Ads never appear during a game, never sit over a board, and don't appear at all when you're offline — there's nothing to fetch. They show on the hub and between sessions when you have a connection, and no game is ever locked behind one.

My half-finished game vanished

Saved boards live on the home screen under Continue. Each game keeps its own, so a paused Spider hand and a paused Chess position both wait for you. Starting a new game in the same title replaces that title's saved board — if you want to keep a position, finish it or leave it be.

My progress didn't come back after reinstalling

Turn on Settings → iCloud Sync inside the app before you reinstall, and sign into the same Apple ID afterwards — levels, XP, streaks, achievements and best times merge back on first launch.

Without iCloud sync switched on, progress lives only on the device, and deleting the app removes it. There's no account to recover it from, by design.

My iPad and iPhone are showing different progress

Sync catches up when the app launches with a connection, not continuously. Open the app on the second device while online. Both devices need the same Apple ID, iCloud Drive on, and iCloud Sync switched on in the app itself.

Best times and high scores keep the better of the two rather than the more recent, so nothing you've earned gets overwritten by an older device.

My Daily Challenge streak reset

The Daily Challenge rolls over at midnight in your device's local time zone. Flying across time zones can shift that boundary — a challenge finished on the plane may land in a different day than you expect. If a streak dropped despite finishing on time, contact us with the date and the time zones you were moving between.

The Chess engine is too easy, or too hard

Three levels, changed from the Chess settings before a game or between games. The rule set is complete either way — castling, en passant, promotion, stalemate and threefold repetition are all handled — so a draw claim is real, not a bug.

Undo is unlimited, including against the engine.

Game Center leaderboards aren't showing

Game Center is off until you switch it on, so nothing is submitted by default. Turn it on in Settings inside the app, then check Settings → Game Center on your device to make sure you're signed in. Leaderboards need a connection; your local best times don't.

How do I get to my favourite games faster?

Long-press any game on the hub to pin it to the top. You can also search from your iPhone home screen — the games are indexed in Spotlight, so typing "Yahtzee" takes you straight in.

Can I make the boards easier to see?

Settings has a colour-blind palette, a high-contrast mode, and full Reduce Motion support. Every square, card and tile is labelled for VoiceOver, so the whole collection is playable without sight of the screen.

The app is in the wrong language

Airplane Games follows your iPhone's language and supports English, French, Spanish, German and Japanese. Change it per app in Settings → Airplane Games → Language. If a translation reads oddly, tell us the exact string and the language — we'd rather fix it than leave it.

The app crashed — what should I do?

Force-quit, reopen, and check the hub — your saved board should still be waiting. If the crash repeats, contact us with your device model, iOS version, which game you were in, and what you were doing. There's no crash reporter, so your description is genuinely all we have to go on.

🎯

Quick Tips

  • Switch on airplane mode before you take off — the games don't change, and the battery lasts the flight
  • Long-press a game on the hub to pin it to the top

FAQ

My numbers don't match what I see in AdMob or AdSense

Almost always time zone. Google reports against your account's reporting time zone, not your phone's — so if you're in Bangkok and your account reports in America/Los_Angeles, "today" is a different window in each place. Ads Earning uses your account's time zone so the totals reconcile, which means the day can roll over at an hour that feels odd locally.

The other cause is finalisation. Today and yesterday are estimates and get revised — invalid traffic gets stripped out over the following days. A figure that drops slightly after 48 hours hasn't gone missing; it's been finalised.

Today shows zero, or far less than expected

Google's reporting runs behind live traffic — usually a couple of hours, occasionally longer. Early in your account's day there may genuinely be nothing reported yet. Pull to refresh later rather than treating an empty morning as a fault.

Sign-in fails, or the permission screen won't complete

Ads Earning asks only for read-only reporting access. If the screen closes without returning, check that you're picking the Google account that actually owns the publisher account — a personal account with no AdMob or AdSense attached will authorise fine and then show nothing.

If you previously denied a permission, Google remembers. Remove Ads Earning at myaccount.google.com/permissions and sign in again to get a fresh prompt.

Only one of AdMob or AdSense is showing

They're separate products with separate publisher accounts. Ads Earning shows whichever the signed-in Google account has access to — if you only hold AdMob, only AdMob appears, and page views and page RPM stay hidden because AdMob doesn't report them.

Can it change anything in my Google account?

No. The permissions granted are read-only reporting scopes. There is no write access, so the App cannot create, edit, pause or delete an ad unit, change a payment setting, or alter anything at all in AdMob or AdSense. It can only read the same numbers you'd read yourself.

The widget is showing yesterday's number

iOS decides when widgets refresh and rations those refreshes to protect battery — the widget requests an update regularly but the system may defer it. Opening the app forces a fresh read and the widget catches up.

If it's stuck for a long stretch, check Settings → General → Background App Refresh is on and that Low Power Mode isn't active. Low Power Mode suspends widget updates almost entirely.

Which currency are the figures in?

Whatever currency your Google publisher account reports in. The App doesn't convert — converting would introduce a rate that doesn't match your actual payment, and the point is that the number matches what Google will pay you.

My unpaid balance doesn't match the payout progress

Unpaid earnings accumulate against the payment threshold set on your Google account, and only finalised earnings count toward it. The current month's estimate is shown alongside but isn't part of the balance until Google closes the month.

Payment thresholds and schedules are set entirely by Google. The App only reads and displays them.

How do I sign out or revoke access?

Sign out inside the App and the stored token is deleted from the iOS Keychain immediately. To revoke the grant on Google's side as well, remove Ads Earning at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the App does both by removing the Keychain entry along with it.

Can I add more than one Google account?

Sign out and back in with the other account to switch. Each sign-in replaces the stored token rather than accumulating them, so only one publisher account is loaded at a time.

The app crashed — what should I do?

Force-quit, reopen, and try again. If the crash repeats, contact us with your device model, iOS version, whether it's an AdMob or AdSense account, and which screen or date range you were on. There's no crash reporter, so your description is all we have to work from.

🎯

Quick Tips

  • Drag along the chart to read any single day rather than eyeballing the shape
  • Every range carries its own comparison — this month is measured against the same days last month, not the whole of it
  • Check the country and format breakdowns before changing an ad unit; the drop is often one market, not the unit
  • Match rate falling while requests hold steady usually means fill, not demand
  • Treat today and yesterday as estimates — compare finalised days when you're making a decision
  • Add the widget to skip opening the app for the one number you check most

📊

What Each Figure Means

Every metric here comes straight from Google's reporting API. Nothing is computed, estimated or smoothed by the App.

Requestscount
How many times your app or site asked for an ad. The top of the funnel — every other number below is a fraction of this one.
Matched requestscount
Requests that came back with an ad. The gap between this and requests is unfilled inventory.
Match rate%
Matched requests as a share of requests. A low rate points at demand or targeting, not at your traffic.
Impressionscount
Ads actually shown. Lower than matched requests, because an ad can be returned and never rendered — the user leaves the screen first.
Impression CTR%
Clicks divided by impressions. Measured against ads seen, not ads requested.
Clickscount
Ad clicks Google counted as valid. Invalid clicks are filtered out, sometimes days later.
Cost per clickcurrency
Average earnings per click. Swings with advertiser demand and the mix of countries your traffic came from.
Observed eCPMcurrency / 1,000
Earnings per thousand impressions actually served. The number to compare between ad units, formats and countries — it's already normalised for volume.
Page viewsAdSense only
Pages that carried at least one ad unit, counted once per page rather than per unit.
Page RPMAdSense only
Earnings per thousand page views. Reads as the value of traffic itself, where eCPM reads as the value of an ad slot.

Today and yesterday are estimates. Google revises recent figures as invalid traffic is filtered. A day only settles once it's finalised — expect small downward corrections, not errors.

Breakdowns

Any range can be split along these dimensions, so a change can be traced to where it actually happened:

App Site Ad unit Country Format Platform

Plus a day-by-day chart you can drag across to read any single day's figures rather than estimating them from the curve.

💰

Payouts

  • Unpaid earnings — finalised earnings not yet paid out
  • Your last payout, with its date and amount
  • Progress toward the payment threshold set on your Google account

Thresholds, payment schedules and holds are set entirely by Google. Ads Earning reads and displays them; it cannot change or trigger a payment.

🔐

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 3, 2026

Ads Earning ("the App", "we", "us") is an earnings viewer for AdMob and AdSense publishers, made by Pathom Sriaroonthip. We do not run a server. Your device talks directly to Google's reporting APIs, and your earnings data is never routed through, copied to or stored on any infrastructure of ours — because there isn't any.

🔑

Google Sign-In & Permissions

Signing in grants the App read-only reporting access to your Google publisher accounts. Google issues an OAuth token that is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and used to request reports directly from Google.

The scopes requested are read-only by definition:

adsense.readonly   admob.readonly

There is no write scope. The App cannot create, modify, pause or delete anything in your Google account, cannot change payment settings, and cannot access Gmail, Drive, Contacts or any other Google service.

Sign out inside the App to delete the token from the Keychain. To revoke the grant on Google's side, remove Ads Earning at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

📦

What Stays on Your Device

The following lives on your device only. None of it is transmitted to us:

OAuth token (Keychain) Cached report figures Selected date range Selected breakdown Theme preference Widget snapshot

Cached figures exist so the App can show something the moment it opens and so the widget has a number to display. Delete the App and all of it goes with it.

What We Never Collect

Your earnings data
Your Google password
Your name or email
Location of any kind
Photos or contacts
Payment or bank details
Usage analytics
Advertising identifiers

Your revenue figures are commercially sensitive, and we treat them that way: they are fetched by your device, displayed on your device, and cached on your device. We never see them.

⚙️

Your Choices & Data Deletion

  • Sign out: deletes the stored token from the Keychain immediately
  • Revoke on Google's side: myaccount.google.com/permissions → Ads Earning → Remove access
  • Clear the cache: signing out clears cached figures and the widget snapshot
  • Delete everything: uninstall the App. Nothing is retained server-side, because nothing was ever sent there.

Children

Ads Earning is a business tool intended for publishers operating a Google AdMob or AdSense account, which requires an account holder of legal age. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

FAQ

My TV isn't being discovered

Make sure your iPhone and TV are on the same Wi-Fi network. Zap Remote uses local network discovery — it won't work over cellular or a different Wi-Fi band (try switching from 5 GHz to 2.4 GHz if your router separates them). Also ensure you've granted Local Network permission in Settings → Privacy → Local Network → Zap Remote.

Pairing keeps failing (Samsung / LG)

On Samsung, a PIN dialog should appear on your TV — accept it within a few seconds. On LG, accept the pairing prompt on-screen. If the dialog doesn't appear, go to your TV's Settings → Network and reset the Smart Hub or enable IP Control. Then delete the TV from Zap Remote and re-add it.

Roku commands aren't working

Roku uses ECP over HTTP on port 8060. Make sure your Roku is on the same Wi-Fi and that Settings → System → Advanced system settings → External control is enabled on the Roku device.

My macros stopped working after a TV update

TV firmware updates can change how commands are processed. Try deleting and recreating the macro. If a specific command is broken, contact us with your TV brand, model, and firmware version.

Zap Remote Pro purchase isn't restoring

Tap Settings → Restore Purchases inside the app. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID used at the time of purchase. Still not working? Contact us with your transaction date.

The AI assistant isn't responding

The AI assistant requires Apple Intelligence, which is available on iPhone 15 Pro and later (and iPhone 16 series) running iOS 18.1+. Make sure Apple Intelligence is enabled in Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri. The assistant processes everything on-device — no internet connection is needed for it.

The app crashed — what should I do?

Force-quit, restart, and try again. If the crash repeats, contact us with your device model, iOS version, TV brand and model, and what you were doing when it crashed.

📡

Quick Tips

  • Pair your TV once — Zap remembers the token so you never re-pair
  • Use macros to chain actions: e.g. "Turn on → Switch to HDMI 2 → Set volume to 20"
  • Pin your favourite apps for one-tap launch from the home screen
  • Voice input in the AI assistant uses on-device speech — no mic data leaves your device
  • Supports Roku, Samsung Tizen, and LG webOS TVs simultaneously

FAQ

My credits disappeared after reinstalling

Credits and progress are stored in iCloud. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID and iCloud is enabled in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Video Poker Mania.

In-app purchase didn't grant credits

Tap Settings → Restore Purchases inside the app. Purchases may take a moment to process. If credits still don't appear, contact us using the form above and include the transaction date.

Ads aren't loading / rewarded ads don't work

Check your internet connection and make sure you haven't restricted ad content in your device settings. Rewarded ads require a live connection to Google AdMob servers. Try force-quitting and restarting the app.

Is this real gambling? Can I win real money?

No. Video Poker Mania is entertainment-only. All credits are virtual, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for real money. The app is rated 17+ for simulated gambling content only.

How do I turn off ad personalization?

Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and toggle off tracking for Video Poker Mania. Ads will still appear but won't be personalized. You can also revoke consent via the in-app privacy prompt.

The app crashed — what should I do?

Force-quit, restart, and try again. If the crash repeats, contact us with your device model, iOS version, and what you were doing when it crashed.

🃏

Quick Tips

  • Hold the cards that contribute to the best potential hand
  • A pair of Jacks or better pays out — don't fold too early
  • Watch a rewarded video ad to earn free credits
  • Build a daily streak for bonus multipliers
  • Royal Flush is the jackpot — keep an eye on your suited high cards

🃏 About This App

Video Poker Mania ("the App", "we", "us") is a single-player, entertainment-only video poker game. There is no real-money gambling, no real cash payouts, and no account sign-up required. This policy explains what limited data the App handles, why, and your choices.

📦 Information We Collect

On your device (local-only):

The following data lives only on your device and is never sent to us:

Hands playedBiggest winWin streakAchievement progressDaily streakSound preferenceHaptics preferenceCurrency displayPlayer nameCredit balancePurchase history

Stored in iOS UserDefaults and optionally synced via your private iCloud Key-Value Store. We never see this data; it never leaves Apple's ecosystem.

Advertising identifiers (only with your consent):

If you tap Allow on the App Tracking Transparency prompt, the App passes Apple's IDFA to Google AdMob so ads are more relevant. If you tap Ask App Not to Track, ads still appear but are not personalized.

Game Center:

If you sign in to Game Center, Apple shares your Game Center alias so leaderboards and achievements work. Score submissions go to Apple's Game Center service — not to us.

In-App Purchases:

StoreKit handles billing entirely on Apple's side. The App receives only the product ID and grants credits — it never sees your payment method, billing address, or Apple ID email.

🚫 What We Do NOT Collect

Real name or email
Phone or address
Precise location
Photos or contacts
Microphone or camera
Financial information

FAQ

The scanner didn't recognize my card

Make sure the card is flat and well-lit with no glare. For holos and reverse holos, try angling the card slightly to reduce reflections. The scanner works best on cards in English — other languages may have lower accuracy. If a card is consistently missed, let us know via the contact form above.

My collection disappeared after reinstalling

Your collection is backed up via iCloud. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID and that iCloud is enabled in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → POKO. On first launch after reinstalling, POKO will offer to restore from your iCloud backup.

Price data looks wrong or outdated

Prices sync from TCGPlayer and eBay and refresh periodically. Pull down to refresh on the card detail screen. If a price looks consistently wrong for a specific card, let us know — include the card name, set, and variant.

Cards pulled from packs aren't counting toward my collection

This was a bug fixed in the latest update. Make sure you're on the most recent version of POKO. After updating, newly pulled cards will count correctly. If you're already on the latest version and still seeing the issue, contact us.

In-app purchase didn't go through

Tap Settings → Restore Purchases inside the app. Make sure you're on the same Apple ID used at purchase. If credits or features still aren't unlocked, contact us with your transaction date and Apple Order ID.

The app crashed — what should I do?

Force-quit, restart, and try again. If the crash repeats, contact us with your device model, iOS version, and exactly what you were doing when it crashed.

What's New

Live Scan
Scan a card and add it to your collection in one tap
Point your camera at any card. If POKO recognizes it, a single tap adds it straight to your collection — no extra steps.
Collection Progress
New progress gauges across the app
A bright completion ring on the home screen, under Open a Pack, and on the new My Pulls screen shows how close you are to catching them all — with breakdowns by set and by rarity.
Achievements
Live progress on every achievement
Each achievement now shows a partial progress ring with your current count vs. the threshold — for example 23/50 Packs — instead of just locked or unlocked.
iCloud Backup
Smarter automatic backups
Your packs, pulls, decks, and wishlist back up automatically after every pull. On a new device, POKO will offer to restore from iCloud the first time you open the app.
Design
New card-back artwork
Brand new artwork on the Pokéball placeholder and the Open a Pack banner.

FAQ

My streak was lost after reinstalling

Your streak, stats, and unlocks sync via iCloud. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID and that iCloud is enabled in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Sudokuru. They should restore automatically on first launch.

The hint isn't explaining the technique

Hints are tiered — the first tap highlights the relevant cells, the second shows the technique name, and the third gives the full explanation. Make sure you're tapping through all three steps before reporting it as broken.

What techniques does the hint engine teach?

The engine currently covers:

Naked Single Hidden Single Naked Pair Hidden Pair Pointing Pair Box/Line Reduction X-Wing

Daily Challenge streak not counting

The Daily Challenge resets at midnight in your local time zone. Completing a puzzle after midnight counts for the new day. If your streak dropped despite finishing on time, contact us with your device's time zone and the date it happened.

In-app purchase didn't unlock premium

Tap Settings → Restore Purchases inside the app. If the unlock still doesn't appear, contact us with your Apple transaction date and Order ID.

The app crashed — what should I do?

Force-quit, restart, and try again. If the crash repeats, contact us with your device model, iOS version, which puzzle mode you were in, and what you were doing when it crashed.

Quick Tips

  • Use the Daily Challenge every day to build your streak — puzzles reset at midnight local time
  • Stuck? Use a hint to learn the technique — not just to fill the cell
  • Sudoku X and Killer are unlocked once you complete a set number of Classic puzzles
  • Premium themes change the grid, number style, and background — try a few to find your focus mode
  • Your iCloud sync is automatic — start on iPhone, finish on iPad
